The freedom of Information Act 200 (FOIA) was passed on the 20th November 2000. Under the Act it gives members of the public the right to know how public services are organised and run and how much they cost. This information is set and how much they cost. This information is set out in a publication scheme. From 1st January 2005, General Practice must respond to requests about information it holds.
